depend on what you want out of the event. You can have a day of a single event
or multiple events that involves students from only your college or you can
collaborate with another college and make it a challenging day for all. The
latter is more likely to gain bigger crowds as there will be come rivalry
between colleges. It will also appeal to another college if you suggest
splitting the proceeds.

organise sponsored outings. For example you could approach a travel company and
get some great student discounts and then approach your students and offer this
outing as a reward for their fund raising efforts. There are a few travel
companies already offering these sorts of deals so it may also be an idea to
approach them to find out if their programs would suit your cause and how you
could go about enlisting in it.
A college fund raising idea needs to be one that is daring
and exciting as college students can be a little difficult to motivate. Try
planning something that will get as many of them involved as possible and
something that will also appeal to their friends. Not everyone goes to college
when they leave school so do not only rely on the students at your
establishment as they will have friends outside the school who would be more
than willing to participate in your activities.
